part 3

Officer Victor Hughes, looked at Dave and then sighed, took his officers hat off and placed it on his desk where he was sitting, ran his hand through his brown thick hair and then picked up a pen to write.
" whats the concern?" he asked in a bored sounding voice.
" Dot is missing, she went out for a breath of air from phillys and she disapeared," Dave said.
He was frazzled looking, his collar was wilting and sweaty, his tie askew and his hair all mussed up
Victor shot up, taking his hat.
" When this happen?" he asked.
" At lunch time," He said.
Victor had never in his life heard this before, disapeard! from this small town?
" How?" he asked.
Dave ran his hand through his hair.
" Some on said that she was taken away in a black sedan," he said.
Victor didn't need any more explaining or telling. He was out the door in seconds, Dave was close behind.
" Hop in!" Victor said
Motioning to the car door, they got in and he radioed the rest of the police officers to be on the look out. for a black sedan.
" Who do you think did it?" Victor asked.
Dave shrugged, next to him, he spied donuts in a paper bag, his hand slinked over to them and picked on up as Victor was looking at his hand held radio, started eating it.
" I do have my suspisions that Andrew did it, the mysterious man that came to town just now," He said.
" I knew it!" Officer Hughes said.
They drove down the street and spied Andrew Barker, walking down the sidewalk, nervously fiddling with a  ciggerette like he didn't know how to use it. looking up, he saw the approaching police car, who didn't have the sirens or lights on.
Looking around, he swiftly turned into a back alley and ran up it, breathing hard. He had to get ahold of a car to get out of this town.
